3 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fez
Overview
This trip through the Sahara desert takes you from Marrakech to Fes in Morocco. In just three days and two nights, you will see a ton of incredible places. include the Dades and Todra gorges, the Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah, Ouarzazate city, and the Atlas mountains. Along with Merzouga, the Sahara Desert has other Berber communities. Additionally, you will ride camels deep into the desert. Witness the Sahara’s breathtaking dawn and sunset as well. Additionally, you will go to the Erfoud fossil town and the Rissani traditional market. Visit Ifrane, Morocco’s Switzerland, and the cedar forest to see the Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. The trip comes to a close in Fes.

Tour Plan
At 08:00, we left Marrakech for Dades Valley through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n'Tichka Pass. We will have time to stop and admire the stunning vistas and Berber settlements along the way as we travel into the High Atlas Mountains. Finally, we arrive to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Berber Kasbah has used as the scene for over 20 films by international directors. It was formerly one of the most significant fortified strongholds along the Old Salt Road, which transported slaves, gold, ivory, salt, and silk from Sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakech and beyond. Following that, we will drive via Ouarzazate, often known as the "Hollywood of Africa," because it is a popular filming location. We continued on to Ouarzazate We will go via the Berber settlements of Megoun and Skoura before arriving at Dades Valley for the night
After breakfast, we will travel from Dades Gorges to Merzouga, where we will visit the biggest sand dune of the Sahara Desert, Erg Chebbi. There will be Berber communities along the journey, including Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud. This is the start of Tafilalet's Saharan oasis. We may relax for a little while after arriving at Merzouga before meeting the camels who will take us on an incredible journey through the sand dunes. As the sun sets, the dunes light up, creating the ideal setting for some stunning photographs. We will be treated to a magnificent desert feast at the camp, followed by traditional drumming and singing. Overnight, it's an opulent desert tent.
We ride the camels back to Merzouga after an early morning. You will have the opportunity to shower and have breakfast here before we begin our excursion back to Fes. Before continuing on across the High Atlas Mountains, we will stop for a cup of tea with a nomadic family. We'll stop for lunch when we reach the magnificent alpine village of Midelt. In the afternoon, we will travel to the renowned city of Fes, where the journey will conclude.
